Estes Valley Victim Advocates has been supporting the community of Estes Park and the surrounding Estes Valley area since 1988.

Estes Valley Victim Advocates provides 24 hour, 7 day a week emergency crisis intervention to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, other crimes and serious trauma. We support victims through the immediate crisis, medical and rape exams, law enforcement interviews and court processes. Volunteer advocates and staff members provide information on the cycle of violence, victim’s rights/compensation, protection orders, the legal process; and assistance in creating safety plans, filling out protection order forms and providing safehousing. A counselor is available to provide individual counseling and support groups.

All services provided by Estes Valley Victim Advocates are confidential and free of charge.

Multicultural Connections

The mission of Estes Valley Multicultural Connections is to assist our community to integrate and celebrate persons of diverse cultures.  To do that we offer once a week beginning English classes at the Estes Park Library; put on a free community Cinco de Mayo celebration; and provide translators and financial help when needed.  Last spring we gave an academic scholarship to an Eagle Rock student and a vocational scholarship to a Senior at Estes Park High School.  In past years we have sponsored bilingual presentations on immigration issues, Estes Park police/community relations, and the Estes Park schools.  Contact Ruth Olstrom, President, at 303-747-0517 or e-mail at mortslo@aol.com.
